St. Louis Area Mopars (SLAM) was established in 2002 with the primary purpose of promoting and encouraging the collection, restoration, modification and/or preservation of Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and AMC vehicles, and provide a means of communication between the owners of such vehicles and their respective families. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in these vehicles. Our means of keeping in touch with one another is the SLAM YahooGroup with local members exchanging stories, information, technical assistance, restoration tips, parts availability, and other words of wisdom or advice. There are no club officers, membership dues, or monthly meetings (yet!), but we do try to get together for local cruise nights, car shows, swap meets, and an occasional picnic. While the club is made up of people from all walks of life, we all have one main thing in common: a passion for the great road machines produced by the Chrysler Corporation over the years.
