The American Mid-Year Society (AMYS) was founded in April 2000 to enhance the ownership experience of Corvette enthusiast with a passion for the mid sixties Corvette Sting Rays. AMYS mission is unique among car organizations because we're not charging any fees, judging or restricting any Mid Year Sting Ray. Our only requirement is that you own a Mid Year and have a production number to prove it. All 117,964 production Corvettes manufactured over the “mid sixtiesâ€� (1963-1967) are already members who’s membership number is the two digit model year and last five digits of the vin#. Since the car is the member it’s impossible to charge an annual membership fee so the owners get to come along for the ride! And all the owner has to do is enroll his member on the website. AMYS is all about driving your Sting Ray for the pure enjoyment of showing it off among like minded owners and spectators. To do that and have a positive experience AMYS is dedicated to creating fun events and providing owners with relevant resources and information on the proper maintenance, repair, modification and restoration of your Sting Ray.
