The "Doodlebugs" is an organization comprised of people who are interested in the restoration and preservation of homemade antique tractors and displaying them in various events. The members of the club are interested in promoting good will in the communities involved. Doodlebugs were made during the war when there was a shortage of tractors for purchase. They were made from automobiles and renovated into tractors for farm work. The club was formed in 1994 and participated in many local events during the 1995 and 1996 Spring, Summer and Fall Season. The 1997 and 1998 season included thirty tractor pulls, shows, tours etc. The Club has grown to over one hundred members and their families, across the United States, many of whom are currently involved in Club activities.
