We discuss the HMV Freeway, a car built in 1979 through the early 80's. It was a unique part of our auto heritage. On 3 wheels, it was capable of 100 MPG, and a speed of 65 MPH, with the capability of keeping up with other cars of the time, both in town and on the highways. At around 700 lbs, it is one of the minicars of our country, but was totally practical in operation.
