Valley Classic Wheels Car Club

The Valley Classic Wheels Car Club is dedicated to the encouragement of preservation, restoration and exhibition of antique, classic and special interest vehicles. Vehicle ownership is not a requirement, only the desire to participate in Club activities. The Valley Classic Wheels Car Club is a not-for-profit group. We have monthly meetings the third Thursday of each month (except in December) at Eno Memorial Hall, North Conference Room, in Simsbury CT at 7:00 PM. Our Club purpose is to have fun and share that fun with others, both in and outside of the Club. We do this in many ways. First, by sharing the varied talents of our members and being part of the community. Second, by hosting an annual car show in July each year, which benefits local and state charities. As a group, we attend other area clubs' shows and events. We plan our own "cruises" to various spots of interest, which allows us the opportunity to get out and enjoy our hobby. The Valley Classic Wheels Car Club elected officers are: President Dennis Delaney, Vice President Wayne Hoffman, Secretary Steve Reed and Treasurer Steve Krilyno. The Valley Classic Wheels Car Club Board of Directors include the above elected officers, along with Pete Rocco, Public Relations Officer, Howard Miller, J. D. Thomas, Mike Kostruba, and Jeff Benigno. The board oversees The Club and helps maintain its direction. The Valley Classic Wheels Car Club is proud of its accomplishments and, in its first year show profits, donated over $2200 to charity. Each year our car show grows in both scope and accomplishment. Show profits from our second annual allowed us to donate over $3,000 to ten local charities. In 2004, approximately one thousand spectators attended our third annual event. By late morning, Club members had parked 344 classic, show and special interest vehicles in the Iron Horse Blvd. commuter lots. The Valley Classic Wheels has joined forces with the Simsbury Flying Club and produces the Car Show portion of their Annual “Fly-Inâ€ at the Simsbury Airport. The 2004 Fly-In had a record 203 classic vehicles on display for an estimated 3,000 spectators. The Valley Classic Wheels also makes it a yearly habit of producing miniature car shows for the patients of various local nursing homes. Every member puts forth an effort to make The Club a success. It is this enthusiasm that makes our Club so great.
