The Mid Maine Sports Car Club is pleased to announce its second anniversary on July 28, 2004. The club was formed by a small group of classic European car enthusiasts from the mid coast area and in two years has grown to almost one hundred members who enjoy weekend sports car events. These events vary from casual tours with friends to autocross and time trials under SCCA rules. A few of our planned events this summer include a club trip to Prince Edward Island for the British Car days, the Climb to the Clouds Mt. Washington hill climb, gymkhanas, rallies, tours and car shows at The Owls Head Transportation Museum. On the second Sunday of each month during the winter, the MMSCC has luncheon and program meetings at the Waterfront Restaurant in Camden, with an average of 25 members in attendance. We have established affiliations with The SCCA, The New England MG Club, The New England Triumph Club, The Cumberland Motor club and many more.
