The Old South Antique Auto Club of Mobile, Alabama, an independent nonprofit organization, was founded in 1962 for the purpose of creating and promoting interest in the ownership, restoration, preservation and enjoyment of antique cars and trucks. Anyone of good character and interest in antique vehicles is eligible for membership in the Club (ownership of an antique vehicle is not a prerequisite for membership). During the year the Club conducts various activities, i.e., an annual Car Show, Bar-b-ques, picnics, banquets, tours in the southeastern district, visiting antique car clubs in other cities and participating in Civic activities and parades
